KING COD...NEW YEARS EVE, FIRST EASTBOUND COD TRIP A SUCCESS !!!
Nice fishing today on our first EastBound Cod/Mixed Bag Trip! We boxed 20 Cod, a mess of Big Ling, 15 SeaBass, a couple of Pollock, and released a few Blackfish. Everyone went home with a fine bag of quality meats!

KING COD...1/12, & 1/13, COD & MIXED BAG WINTER WRECK FISHING!!!
Saturday 1/12 saw a slow but steady pic of Cod. Our 6 man group ended the day keeping 21 Cod, and releasing some shorts. Sunday 1/13 saw good mixed bag fishing... We filled the big cooler with Cod to 12lbs. Ling, Haddock, & Pollock. 40 mixed pieces for our 5 man charter.
Keeping an eye on the weather. Will be sailing 6 passenger open boat by reservation, from Center Moriches any day the weather allows. Next chance looks to be Tues, Thurs, Fri.

Took the long steam out to Ham Ridge... Good fishing with a steady pick of Cod all day. Our 6 man group ended up with 37 Market Cod in the cooler, releasing a few more. Clean Cod fishing, with only one Dogfish, and one Pout all day. Things are looking good for late Jan.
We will be sailing 6 passenger open boat by reservation from Center Moriches NY, every day the weather allows through the winter. Private charters are also available. Sold out through Saturday 1/19. Don't wait, book your date. We always confirm sailing the day before trip, and will not sail in poor weather in the winter.

Got our brains kicked in a little bit today offshore... Stiff NE breeze right into the current made for toothy conditions. One drop day produced 21 Cod, a half dozen Pollock, and some Ling. I'm pretty sure we could have doubled that if conditions cooperated. There are fish to be caught...
Our next OPEN BOAT BY RESERVATION trips are Scheduled for Friday 2/1, & Sunday 2/3 weather permitting...
