New Year's Eve/Day Festivities??

Josie and I will be home. Bottle of champagne to toast the New Year.

New Years was never that much of a big deal to me. I'll be staying home.

Picked up 2 pounds of King Crab Leg & a 1 pound Lobster Tail for snackin' - have a Growler of Porter from the local brewery, some Glenfiddich Scotch, the Hobbit Trilogy (which I'll start around 1 or 2 so it finishes up by 10/11) - some other recreational stuff & a bunch of firecrackers that I'll set off at the appointed hour - wish Max a happy new year & then slumber

couple of the bars/restaurants doing the usual New Years stuff.............

I've never really been big on going out. Occasionally a friend's house for dinner & stuff - but haven't bothered with it in a long time. Think the last time was for 2000. I figured if society collapsed & went to* "hell in a handbasket"* I'd rather be around a large group of friends.

Spending 30years anniversary with Capt mojoe together home

I’d be asleep early as usual, but not this year.
Since my son is home he’s having a party here. So I will be up making sure all’s well and take keys away from anyone who drives themselves here. Which usually is very few, they all Uber. But will advise everyone to sleep here as a Uber car can still get hit by a drunk driver.

I usually don't drink if I drive, so I keep my New Years Eve drinking to the midnight toast. One year
someone pulled out in front of me on the way home and I missed them by inches. (that may have been my last year out for New Years) So that's a very good idea.

Same thing we have done the past 10 yrs ....... we have friends over, all of which are in walking distance.

NY Day: After watching The Entire Godfather collection or Band of Brothers in my Buffalo Bills Pajamas, while napping on couch , I get up for Dinner and go right back to it.
