We had a brief but large blasts here very close but was glad my dog did not hear them too bad with the rain falling.

Regardless of the confusion at Chez Harley, Chez Roccus will be pulling out the stops on the 4th as the Children and Grandchildren will be here. Fireworks legal in Vacation Land and Big Al's in Wiscasset, has a great selection @ decent prices. Bought 6 500-gram displays and got 3 more free. Filled up the back of The Admiral's car...

The good old dayz..... we did that every year, for years.
We were known for blowin out neighborhood out every year.

Stopped several years ago when some of our neighbors and dogs got older.
It was always great fun and we did it very safely

Yes, we had more than the last few years round my area.

My old dog don't like them any more so could not wait for them to stop.
They went way after 10:pm but it was fun to reminisce of how we did them years ago.

Guess it comes with getting older.

last night, Macy’s Brooklyn Bridge 70,000 shells display was spectacular. Sadly many thousands of pigeons were found dead near the bridge, scientists diagnosed the birds died of shock and smoke inhalation...

We had so much stuff...we did 2 nights of firework displays. This was just 7/3 fireworks.....the ones from last night was a little more beefier.
