Amazon Prime

I have it.

Love it, mostly because I live so far from basic stores so the free 2-day shipping on any size order saves a ton of gas money. I'm >40 miles one way from the nearest tackle shop so you know where I got much of my fishing tackle from.

The video selection is good and I never use the reading or music benefits.

I'm in the same boat as you Dom but I have no use for it..................................

If you go to buy on Amazon - when you get to the shipping part - just below the Prime/Fast DElivery check box - there's another check box that also gives you free shipping - generally with your item arriving within a day or two of when the Prime ship would deliver

I can wait an extra day or two. Rarely if ever do I need something in two days.

Isn't that free shipping over a certain amount, like $50? Many of my orders are less than that and I'm not very good at "bundling", as soon as I order something I go, "Crap I also need to order this too". And I do love the Prime Video part, my primary streaming source...

for the most part it seems to cover nearly everything I've ordered - if it doesn't - I pay the shipping - again - I don;t need anything that I can't wait for.

Prime is great! Even though I'm within easy driving distance to pretty much anything I need to purchase, I'd rather avoid the stores when I can. (Of course fishing rods and reels are a 'must feel' type of item)

I haven't been in the '*belly of the beast*' in quite a few years. Well actually I was in the Apple store a couple of weeks ago to get my $29 battery replacement on my two year old phone. (they ended up giving me a new phone at no charge) Went in the side entrance, straight to the store, back outside. I went to Lowes while I waited. :rolleyes:

I also utilized the heck out of Prime video last year.

I use Amazon music all the time. I actually like it better than XM Sirius.

I utilize the photo storage feature. Very nice feature to use if you have Prime. Backup / organize all your photos. One interesting feature is you can easily see your photos from any previous years in chronological order.

My wife uses Prime too, she signed onto my account with her own username / password. I don't get emails about anything she might be buying for me anymore. ;)

I can't do that unfortunately as my wife's Prime account is actually with her sister so when I do purchase stuff off Amazon Prime I have to use my wife's ID and PW so she knows when I am getting stuff (and the reverse is not true ! ) We also can't do the Prime TV or music, at least I don't think we (she) can, but since we rarely like the same TV shows...

Love it. I don’t order much stuff on it, but when I do it more then makes up for it. Not to mention the prime video is pretty awesome. I just finished Sons of Anarchy and before that all of the episodes of the Sopranos.

Gotta have it.

ok - I took a Prime Trial Membership just to get a deal on one of those robot vacuums. Says I have access to Prime Video - where exactly do you find Prime Video?
