Hello All!

I wanted to thank you all for the great job you’re doing here. I apologize for the absence last week but my foundation -Bravestfoundation.org - Bravest.com supports NYC Firefighters and sadly we lost a FF in the line of duty and that’s when we step in to help.

I did have time to get a meeting together with a few social media “influencers” that will help us attract our youth. These kids have no clue about fisheries management. None! But they know Facebook and Instagram and surprisingly they fish a lot. They are the most educated generation of anglers yet.

Our development team has been working on a new design, with a homepage and an article management system. When complete we will have the ability to take a post and turn into article format with a single click. There are many posts on this site now that would qualify.

We are also working on a podcast that I will be producing weekly. As we get closer to the podcast, I am going to need some input from this team. I plan to work as many mods into the show as possible. Once compete we will be able to do it over the phone. More on this in the coming days. I’d like it to be fun and informative. I’m thinking about a short weekly segment on what not to do and feature a Joey Googan character. Any takers to play the googan?

I’m targeting these upgrades to be complete by the beginning of February.
