> Didnt you go night night?
yes - but I was prepping tomorrow's night dinner & had the SOTU on while doing so & I noticed those drones. I'm assuming they're congresswomen - but what's with the white & stony faces?
So I figured I'd sign back in and ask you stony faced drones who they were & why white?

Well they are democrats...they are women...hear them roar!!!
Even in the early 20th century, women seeking the right to vote knew how to get the media’s attention.
In demonstrations and parades, the suffragists donned white dresses meant to generate photo coverage in the daily newspapers. The color choice also echoed England’s suffrage movement, which used purple, white and green as its official colors.
The white outfits many female lawmakers wore to the [State of the Union ]('https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/02/04/everything-you-need-know-about-state-union/?utm_term=.aa43aad3336e')address Tuesday night are a nod to the U.S. suffragists and an attempt to spark the same kind of publicity, said Rebecca Boggs Roberts, the author of “Suffragists in Washington, D.C.: The 1913 Parade and the Fight for the Vote.”

Somebody must have given her a copy of Throw Them All Out. She was doing pretty good, right up until she got to bashing the President. What I want to know, outside of the dog and pony, leading questions theatrics, is what is she going to do to see that our representatives actually represent us. Are there going to be rules requiring all congressfolk and senators to have their invested assets in a blind trust? Because stock speculation seems to be how they make their money. I want to know how they all end up multi-millionaires in a few years when the job pays $100something K. It's a rhetorical question, she just told us what we already know.
The biggest flaw in her attack on the President is that he's got enough of his own money that he doesn't have to cater to PACs or corporate lobbyists. Unlike his former opponent who was thoroughly bought and paid for by Wall Street, who wholeheartedly supported more trade deals that would further demolish the middle class. AOC needs to clean house at her level first before she starts attacking the other guy. If she can manage that I'll be more impressed.
