When Castro died he was worth something like 900 Million. Man of the people. Everybody is equal in the communist system, right comrade?

Cuba is still stuck in the 1950s, like every communist country that ceases to make progress as soon as they turn. And I've never seen anybody pull up to the family to a beach in Miami and pile them on a raft and risk their lives to go to Cuba for the marvelous education and health care. OTOH, plenty of people have risked their lives, and quite a few have died trying to escape Bernie's utopia.

Venezuela was Bernie's darling too, another failure of collectivism. And yet ol' Bernie is still out their selling his bull$#it. What a dope. Sadly leading another bunch of dopes down the garden path.

all of that doesn't matter - because his supporters don't care & he is leading the Democratic polls & could very well be their candidate - personally - I don't see Trump getting a second term - so that just puts him one step closer to the White House

Trump is going to win and I’m not just saying that because I’m have relatively conservative views.

The masses see how biased the media is. Celebrities continue to push the liberal agenda. It’s a joke. They lost the presidency and they continue to try and change the rules to favor themselves. Such as getting rid of the electoral college for instance. They had the decked stacked and they still lost. Sure urban areas will continue to vote Democrat and why not. Free meals. Housing. Healthcare. Oh yeah and if they get their way a free path to citizenship where they get to jump the line.

Trump will also win because the Democratic Party is deeply fractured. The socialists are muddying the field. Bernie is actually conservative compared to AOC. I hope there is 20 democratic nominees. Each one is more out of touch then the last.

right now we have a far right lunatic running the country.....or trying too.........it's morons like trump that will push the country to the other extreme and give his left wing lunatic a shot at the country....we need a middle ground candidate who will do some things democrats like and some thing republicans like.....democrats doesn't mean socialism....(maybe with bernie) if it did we would have been there with previous Democratic presidents.

There’s no more middle of the road thanks to Barry and the squad. And where is he now? Not trying to make things better in Chicago, but globetrotting with billionaires. 8 years of a gutless turd as far as I’m concerned. What did he get done. Obamacare? How’s that working out?

I am aware that Democrats and democratic socialists are different.

I actually agree with Gene(partially).

I would not call Trumpet far right. I don't even think he has a party leaning. He's just off doing his own thing. Whatever that is.

I agree we need a middle ground candidate - preferably a strong & viable 3rd Party candidate. You know.
One who appeals to that "silent majority" Reagan was fond of referring to?

Gene's mis-statement was democrats don't mean Socialism.
No. The leadership & most citizens with Democratic leanings don't want it.

But - it is appealing to many millenials who don't actually know (or want to know) what that means. That's how AOC got elected.

That's how Sanders can get elected.
Or another candidate like him.
Give it a year or two (AOC=Obama) & it may happen.

True, but most of the creeping socialist programs that we have are from Democrats. And BTW, much as derangement syndrome makes some people believe it, Trump is hardly far right.

*And, I see someone else was typing while I was too.

Trump is actually more independent than anything else. But who was the last independent that actually got to go to a debate? It was Ross Perot.

I’d love a middle of the road candidate. I’m pro 2nd amendment and pro-choice. Etc etc. We’re just beyond that point. If you run on a middle of the road ticket you have no chance. Plus there is no one in my mind who would be able to pull it off.

As a millennial (I hate admitting it) we don’t know what the hell we want. Half of the group still live at home with mom and dad, 25% are gainfully employed, and the remainder have their heads up their butts.

I voted 3rd Party last time around. Not that I wanted that candidate to win or thought they even had a chance in hell of winning but because I refused to vote for the two they offered us. I refused to be a party to it (no pun intended - it just fit), I don't even remember the 3rd Party guy's name (Johnson I think).

It was my way of voting *"none of the above"*.

Until such a time as we stop voting for the "*lesser of two evils*" nothing will change & we'll never get a REAL 3rd Party Candidate.
Government will stagnate.
Both Parties will do nothing but attack each other & continue voting against any BIll the other Party puts up there because it wasn't their party's bill.

Their are a ***LOT*** of moderates on both sides. Until they stand up & say enough or split off to form a new party with Moderate views. We are probably doomed to go the route of the Romains & implode from within.
