Hi. It is winter still, damn cold in Plymouth, but the spring isn't that far away. So I have been watching a lot of videos to get excited about this spring. I found some of my GoPro footage of our Buzzards Bay porgy fishing.... and it brought a smile to my face. Using trout gear makes every fish feel huge; you feel the bite before they chew, and it's laughs all around. I hope you enjoy.

I will post one for my haddock fishery soon.. I love seeing what the fish are doing down there. With that porgy video, you can see how the fish are looking at the baits, albeit quickly.... Guys gotta keep the line tight....and I like keeping the lines moving so the baits are always in view....pulling the baits away often elicits a bite.... wait til you see the haddock...if you like the porgy, the haddock one is crystal clear.

We like using trout sized gear. Every fish feels huge and you feel every nibble. Then the bigger fish show up and you think a tuna is on!

This one here was off of Chatham...my 10-year old was sitting on my pulpit, his feet hanging over the bow and they were coming up and tapping his feet. He will never forget that!
