Captree Princess 2019 off to good start

Today there was life out there in the deep for fares on the Captree Princess Cod/Pollock/ Ling trip . We scratched together to put some good pieces in the box today. there was close to dozen cod to 10 lbs or so, pollock to 15-18lbs, ding a ling , ling sprinkled all around boat, good sized cunners, sea bass all vented and safely released, pout, american eel and manageable amount of cape shark. oh, and one toad oyster fish. glad to be back on the Mother Ship and greet and chat with old friends and some new ones as well. Capt Rob worked hard for us to go home with meat for the table giving us a couple extra hours to do so. Mates were always where they were supposed to be without yelling for them. This boat is recommended. :p??

just off new moon with screaming current at times and yet another tough cod bite. cod were picked at every drop. maybe 15 blackfish with some keepers. some ling. bycatch consisted of tasty cunners, skate. eels, ocean pout and not too many endangered spiny dog fish.good to have sea life stretching my lines. Captain provides fresh skimmers for bait. Professional crew everywhere they are needed without being called. heated rails , galley and nice, comfortable banquettes for seating/sleeping. This boat is recommended. CIAO, John
