My very good friend Chris, hunt n fish on the old site, took our social media gurus, Jenna and Anthony and I for a quick togging trip this morning. It was a slow pick, but I was high hook with 2-fish :) The boat is rigged with a Minkota that worked excellently. Between the charts and GPS and ff integration, the anchor was never deployed and it kept us on top of the piece without issue. I found it amazing.
It was great and sad at the same time. Now I have to find the budget to get one :)

The spotlock feature on the trolling motor is awesome. I was out with Chris twice ,we fished over 25 wrecks and never touched the anchor. My shoulders and back love it

A friend has it on his boat in Florida. We went fishing a couple of months ago and I was more than impressed. We fished close in on pilings, no problem. We went offshore 8-9 miles, no problem. We held our spot within a couple of feet. Amazing!

How do they do in a 2-3 kt current and/or 15 kt breeze???
We were in a 2 knot current with a 6 ft ground swell and it kept the boat on the spot

We didn't have much current, but the breeze was at least 12-15 kt a couple days fished the pilings. It not only held us on the spot, but kept the boat in the correct orientation. It was constantly adjusting itself and never lost the 'spot'.

It's on my list for the new boat ...... The [Rhodan]('https://www.rhodanmarine.com/gps-anchor/') seems to have better reviews, but as of yet I don't believe they have an auto stow/deploy model.
