So true. In the age of the meme and soundbite it takes some effort to engage in principled thought. Media tends to emphasis the flashy and loud to capture the flashbulb-like attention span people seem to have today. So how do we get people onboard with this?

There is no more common ground. Each party is too polarized and there is no end in site. Eventually maybe a candidate will be elected that can shine light on both sides of the coin, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. There is no more compromise and no bipartisanship deals whatsoever. Besides the infrastructure bill.
