Fished with my bros from mattituck took a while to get things going with the semi wind against the tide on the end of the in coming wind went more or less west for the outgoing and it was game on total was give or take close to 25 fluke with about 4 being keepers we only kept 2 for the box 22 and 24 inches .Guys and girls the fish are there go get them dont wait for reports go make your reports there was nobody out yesterday only 2 boats from the ramp and two from our marina.

Sounds like as great day! I think that stretch of rain kept a lot of people from splashing. Smithtown Bay had like a dozen boaters fishing on a picture perfect day.
Out east I think they were playing percentages. Peconic Bay wasn't crowded, but there were quite a few boats (and like clockwork, any time I pulled up a fish I had company).
Didn't take the boat but took a ride by the Sound and there wasn't a boat in sight. I think people figured cooler water, stay in the bay. I had no fluke to show for it, so maybe that logic wasn't all that great.
