Went out with some friends on the boat for a Fluke trip this past Sunday. Tough wind made the bite a grind but was able to squeak out about 50 shorts, a few bluefish, some monster sea robins and one 20" keeper. All fish caught during the outgoing on skinny water drop offs.

Every year for the last 18 I fished the bay and the reef with a good friend of mine, he worked for Spellmans and kept his boat there. My wife and I would be his guests always the first week of August.
Caught a lot of nice fluke, sad for me he is now out in Oregon , bought a retirement home so he could be with his new born grandson, I am going to miss fishing the bay and the surrounding waters.
Best of luck to you.
