On Thursday 5/16/19 we took the boat to get it's first fish for the season and after searching all over for bunkers we finally got 5 and anchored up in the back of Jamaica Bay and chunked. Well it started off slow then as the tides changed (low incoming) we got hits one after the next but only managed to stick one bluefish for the trip. Then on Saturday my son and I trolled same back bay area for 1 hour and managed 5 blues from 3lbs to 8lbs. We've been seeing a few 40"+ bass taken but late evenings. Some being trolled and some on chunks. Hope all this wind die down soon lol so we can go do some fluking. Well all stay safe, tight line
