Reports Board - Department of Redundant Departments?

They were doing a running report we asked them too do separate reports so they could be added too the home page

I agree with Lep on this one ....... I know many who stopped looking at and posting reports on the old NE.

I agree that something needs to be done also. I will see if something can be done to get the running threads working with the push to homepage.

The party boat reports were the reason I no longer went on the reports section of NE. I had still gone on the discussion boards, but NOT the reports section. I can type my own lies and in CAPS myself ! Semi-seriously, I had asked some years back if the reports section could be futher split from surf boat flyfishing and offshore to surf boat flyfishing, offshore and party boats, or if a filter could be utilized so that all the posts in CAPS could be screened like spam if so desired.

On NE all reports were on one board. I did build in features to filter some. We separated them here. If a person doesn't want to read them they don't go in the board. I'm thinking of a way to give each boat their own board/sub-board. I just don't want to bury them. We'll work something out. We have many lurkers checking the party/charter boat reports.

By no means did i wish to imply that party boats shouldn’t b posting. I am not the least bit interested but just want private boater and PBs and their clients in a separate spot

That's how we have it now.
