I been holding back on postin reports..
so far I have fished bay & ocean from Jbay to east of jones..Fluke fishing has been a challenge ...Not many fish around & even less keeper size...Ling fishing has been solid but the popular spots are starting to show less good size fish,,still solid on the deep 100' spots ..
With BSB opening this sunday all I can say is no shortage of short fish..Keeper size not so much...Commercial & NJ boats have been pounding the three plus mile pieces...I would try the inside three mile drops first...good news is the monster doggies seem to move off..& they were monsters this year..
Tuna inshore tuna fishing has been solid ..I have had some good reports come in..With what looks like a good weather window this weekend..It your in the mood to go...you just may get what you're looking for...
My plan is to take some east trips from jones ..see whats going on & fish MTK ..Good to have friends with boats there..
good luck & catch em up
bottom fishing

The surprise here in Jersey has been the appearance of Whiting. The occasional Snowshoe Flounder also makes an appearance when Clammin' in the deep . . .

Yes I also have caught a few Whiting...No snowshoe flounders to the east...I tend to catch them when I go your way...
