Captain Dave reports from the Viking Star; Porgy fishing remained tough today near the Montauk Lighthouse. After the Viking Star moved further off shore the fishing improved with a slow steady pick of quality Porgies and Sea Bass. All the fish caught were good; most of them keepers. The pool winners today were Danny Hsu of East Meadow with a 4 1/2 pound Scup and Martin Tejeda of the Bronx, NY with a 6 pound Seas Bass.
