After completing a week’s worth of consulting jobs and a terrific College friend’s reunion this past weekend I am ready to put in some serious time on the water and take advantage of the outstanding summer fishing opportunities on the North Fork/East End. BTW, the food/beer selections at the upstate NY party were fantastic, including my wife’s” show stopping” fish cakes made with some recent Striped Bass catches!

While I do have some charters already on the books for this Friday and Saturday, as well as the holiday week, there are also some openings for both complete crews and some splits. Monday and Tuesday July 1,2 are both split trips that will most likely be Captain’s Choice outings. Sea Bass will be targeted for a portion of both trips but the secondary species will either be Stripers or local Fluke (meaning Gardiner’s I.) I have a couple of fares for each of these 2 trips and the current plan is to make both a ¾ day, 6- hour outing. So, we can add either 1 or 2 more anglers to 7/1 or 7/2.

I have a full day charter for Friday 7/5 but Wed, Thurs, 7/3,4 are wide open as is Sat. 7/6. Depending upon the weather and desires of the crew we could put together a Montauk Fluke trip where the action has been more reliable.

It looks like the long-range weather forecast is good with some hot days in store. What better way to beat the summer heat and traffic jams on shore than with a relaxing day on the water! Give me a call if you would like to join in on the fun.
