Porgies remain the easiest species. Fluking remains slow but there are occasional big fish being caught. Bass also slow. If you want to target bass, drag Mojo rigs on the west slope of Eatons Neck on an outgoing tide, in particular the last half of the tide. As I said Porgies are very active in the bay and right off the neck now.
Got caught in Sunday's storm. Visibility was 10 feet in the thick of it and there were huge seas even in the bay! The sounds of maydays on channel 16 were chilling. screaming into the microphones. Just be aware that if you are ever in trouble, speak slowly and clearly so other vessels can hear the nature of your distress to come to your aid.
