Ran a half day afternoon charter for a couple of loyal long-term customers on a very hot day. Thankfully the Striped Bass in the Gut did not seem to mind the heat and in a little over 2 hours we landed 10 Bass with two keepers going in the box.
Next stop central LI Sound for the reliable Sea Bass bite and once again, the fish did not disappoint. During the 60-minute slack water window the guys easily boated their limit to 3#. The breeze on the way home along with a setting sun was the perfect cap to a fun day.
The full moon is approaching next week and would be an excellent time to cash in on the evening/night time Bass bite. Give me a call if you want to get out.
