Shinnecock Seabass & Fluke

Fished solo today. Started in bay since I had wind and tide but after a few short fluke moved to ocean once tide turned to rise. Started sea bass fishing and got 3 keepers very quick for a change. No picking through 14-1/2 inches today. 1st 3 were 16 just over 15 and then a nice one at 21!!! Switched to fluke but nothing but shorts in ocean. Solo satisfaction in the skinny - sensational ! This fluke season has been a challenge: head to the deep for shorts, return to the shallows for a few Keepers. Persistence pays (or so they tell me) . . .
