Too bad we've turned into a bunch of name-calling, self-interest whiners, no longer able to compromise for the common good...

My old man was one of them. Did environmental test on the reaction control system of the LM. So they could be confident that every time they moved the stick those tiny rockets would fire in the heat and cold of space and move the spacecraft the way they wanted it to go. Every single time.

And I was 20. Incredible effort put into that project, especially with the available ‘technology’.

A musical greeting card probably has more processing power than the computers aboard the spacecraft.

I'm so in awe of what they accomplished with the things they had to work with. Honestly I'm incredibly offended by all these @$$hats that claim it was fake. Probably the greatest single event in human history and the care and effort of hundreds of thousands of people reduced to a "TV show" by people who couldn't find their @$$ with both hands.

Just a monumental failure of our society and education system. What a shame, the heights we've fallen from.

I was 11 ......... the impression on me was life changing. It defined the direction of my life. I attended Georgia Tech and
graduated with degree's in Aerospace Engineering and Physics.
