We went out early before the excessive heat for some fluke and did pretty good. There was actually a nice breeze out there today and when the sun tucked behind a cloud it was actually nice.
Tough wind against tide conditions first thing but we short drifted structure and did well on nice fish. My son and I had 6 nice keepers all between 4-6 lbs and a lot of jumbo shorts and some nice seabass. We just kept two since we are still eating tuna every night.
Moved to the tanker area in late am and had a ton of action but most were just short.
Fishing seems to be getting a little better each trip and the best is yet to come it seems. Salmon gulp grubs were very hot today.
