Hi folks- Fished my usual spots near dutch island for porgy/seabass/fluke. I havent fished that area for a few years now. My saltwater fishing is usually done sparingly because my boat is a car topper i use for duck hunting. I just wanted to frame this report in its realistic fishing effort, which is a limited ability to move around form spot to spot. I use a 55 thrust electric motor. (next year i am going to get a more appropriate boat for the bay). So hears the report....................

Big porgys, short seabass, no fluke. The fluke fishing in narragansett bay is usually such high quality that i catch fluke while fishing for other species!!! This year i have only caught three fluke in three trips?? WTF and i am actually targeting them! Something is up, not sure. Unfortunatley i missed the best part of the last few fluke seasons since i work over seas for a ship owned by the us navy. So i cant guage this. Basically the fluke are not in the bay like they usually are or i need to fish new spots. Tight lines - Bow
