My first car was a 1963 Chevy Impala bought used in 1972. After market Sears A/C, didn’t do a damn thing, but built like a tank. You could live in the trunk.

My dad had a 4 door 1964, one morning he noticed that the AM radio was set to a Spanish station. Apparently some Mexicans were sticking a screwdriver in the ignition keyhole and starting the car, joyriding overnight and returning it. He put a note in the car that the police would pull the car over at night if it was seen driving around town, they slashed all the tires.
