Had 3 generations of the Kim family join me today for a half day inshore charter. For 12 y/o Jack and 8 y/o Lin this was only their second fishing trip of their lives. Nevertheless, the put a big hurt on the Porgy population in Peconic Bay, near Jessups Neck.

Their parents and Grandparents also made significant contributions to the overall catch and by the trips end the group iced over 50 nice Porgies up to 3#. Grandpa also led the way with a little excitement just before heading back to the dock by landing a beautiful 5# Weakfish!

I have Montauk Fluke trips on tap once again for this Friday, 8/23 and Sunday 8/25. Sunday’s trip is already full but there are 2 spots still open for the Friday trip. Please give me a call or send an e-mail if you want a shot at some real quality Fluke fishing off Montauk.
