Got a late start this morning and didn't hit the inlet until just after 10:30am
Headed into the ocean to find a bigger swell than the forecast said and more than I wanted to deal with. Got 3/4 of the way to sea buoy and turned around. Fished the flats in back of inlet and basket area for an insane amount of sea robins and a few short fluke. Once the rising tide died out and I had slack water I made the move to try for Triggers. Good call. Instant action but karma was not in my favor as the west wind kicked up big time and I didn't get to sit still in my spot like I was hoping for. Boated a few really nice big ones so I was happy about that.
