After being down a few weeks to mechanical issues had a great day this past sat we found the seabass and other goodies finished the day iceing 15 huge seabass (we have a self imposed 18 inch limit on our boat the tiny fillets on a 15 in seabass aint worth killing it and i know how to cut fish,)and when the bite was hot enough to start jigging them we also C&Released 10 weakfish that was a first on the reef we were on and boxed 2 keeper fluke.A very good day after a pretty sh###y summer fish wise on the sound.Everything came from 80 to 120 ft of water clams squid and fresh peanuts were the bait along with diamond jigs

I have heard of a lot of instances where anglers have stumbled onto weakfish. Sounds like a great day and thanks for posting.
