Never acquired a taste for pea soup Mom always made it guess its not for me

Any clam chowder but preferably new england and my wifes chicken soup i can live on either one

A coworker turned me on to portuquese kale and potatoe soup it was great >Been playin with that recipe

The Muse was upon me today so I whipped up a bath of New England Clam Chowdah. The Roccus Version is a variation of Craig Claiborne's and, being the consummate scientist, over the years I've titered the proper heavy cream to whole milk ratio. Believe it or not, 100% cream is NOT the best, it's 3 parts heavy cream to one part whole milk.

Before I started shucking clams, I fired up the bread machine so the soup was accompanied with fresh sour dough bread, slathered with Irish butter. Oh yeah, there some arterial clogging going on this evening...

I used to get soup from Hale and Hearty when I worked in the city. Crab and Asparagus. Was amazing.
