Feel sorry for you folks having to hump for green crabs. A hot dog, live-well scoop net, a beer or other beverage, and you'd fill a bucket from my dock before you could finish the beer. Some of the Greenies are babes, perfect for putting on the hook whole. When I fillet and throw a rack off the dock it's covered with crabs before the next rack goes in.

Big push to eradicate the Greens because they wreck havoc with the eel grass and young steamer clams, a BIG business in Maine. Rumor has it that Asians have shown up here too, but I've get to see any.

Speaking of racks, I've got some filleting to do now. I've started to let the fish sit overnight in the cooler overnight sitting in salt water and plastic bottles with ice in them. Soooo much easier to fillet when they're stiff...

hi all nyanglers .?,, again george and i hit the deep blue?‍♂️ sea yesterday to try and get some more porgys for the table,, day before yesterday we got them,, and i jigged all them porgys up,,, today no luck with the chops? ,,,all i jigged up were some tog ,, the weather was not to good again with all the wind but no rain,, the rain☔ held up :),,,,,the tog are chewing whereever we go on the drops,, they are there,, cant help it,,, all fish thrown back in the days that passed,,had a couple of keepers too ,george was fishing in a hole and banging them out, a few more days left and its bang bang??,,,,, george made me another sandwich that was great ,, whats not to like,, we do have the TOG fever,, in a few days hope all this wind lays down so could hit the mojoe wrecks,,,, we are ready to fill the traps up with green crabs ? ,,,
