Opening day Tog,for us anyway!

Finally got the weather to get out for tog and our trip was excellent! EZ limits all around with fish to 6 lbs, nonstop lock and load, tons of 14" kept it lively! Jigs and greenies , never fished deeper than 18'.

I know not to ask you specifics but were you fishing locally in home based waters or were you on North Shore?

Oops my bad. I shoulda picked up on that. Hope you made it out today. I was tied up with work appts today and missed the nicest day in awhile on the water

made the run east again yesterday and did well, nothing over 4 , but steady action, EZ DOUBLE LIMITS with 50 + fish for two anglers. Still shallow, still on the jig.

Went togging again yesterday , first drop was hot, 2 keepers + 6 ,14" fish in 20 minutes , tide picked up and it was challenging to get back on the small piece where we've had our last trips. Picked away with limited success. Pushed out to 30 feet,put on the heavy lead and as the tide slacked it was drop, scratch , scratch , thump , thump STICK! Lock and load for an hour. EZ double limit with 40+ shorts ,a full bucket of greenies for 2 anglers.
