Superhawk Blackfish.

Hopped on the Superhawk from Point Lookout Friday for blackfish. Although it was sporty conditions( 3 to 5 feet seas) and gusty winds over 20 kts,I caught my first party boat limit of blackfish in many years. I had rod bending short life all day as well. Whites again out fished greenies by a big margin. Cutting all the legs off medium whites and using them cut in half worked best . I had equal success catching 2 keepers on a single hook with sinker on a conventional set up and 2 keepers on a 1 1/2 ounce white tog jig using 40lb. fluorocarbon and a spinning jigging reel and rod. Because the sea conditions deteriorated as day wore on, could only using spinner and jigs for about 2 hours around the slack. Captain Steve and crew are top notch. This boat is recommended. (y) (y)
