Same here, ones in the backyard are probably two inches up. Long range forecasts show very little cold days ahead...

Noticed several trees are all developing their leaf buds.
Have a pair of Orioles occupying & building a nest in the birdhouse on my front porch this morning.

I cleaned out my gardens yesterday, washed and will polish the truck today. I am sure it will snow again on March 7 for the Ward Melville show, but that's about it for this winter...

Chesapeake seems to be "waking up" as well.....................

On my way back from Richmond yesterday, as I was crossing the CBBT there where a couple of acres of fish busting on top with birds diving into the midst of them. Couldn't tell what was feeding or what was being fed upon.

I'm hoping this past few days are the end of freezing weather. I have tulips, daffodils, crocus and my iris' are all up. Tulip and daffodil around 6 inches already. Hope no hard freeze.
