Misfit Kayak Fishing Team made the trip again and again it was a productive trip. "Pistol"Pete Kelly had 20 fish and I had about a third of that. I didn't adapt when I needed to. He got lucky.
Anyway, conditions were ideal and there were a ton of guys there. Keepers were being caught and at least one kayak fisherman (in a paddle kayak - no fancy Hobie) had a 36 inch bass.
Everything released. Left the river a little cleaner than I found it and - because Pete knew that I was poised to land 14 more bass - we knocked off a little early and I was back home on LI for dinner.[ATTACH type="full"]15182[/ATTACH][ATTACH type="full"]15183[/ATTACH]

We typically fish around Shelton. Not sure if that's north or south of Sikorsky.
