The shooting websites I frequent are all like-minded so now I won't know what the enemy is thinking, unless I watch CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC...

The fact is it was spilling over onto the other boards, and it wasn't anyone in particular. It was our 3rd most popular board and it was our #1 exit page for users by a wide margin. There could be many reasons for that but I feel it's time to pull the plug.

Sad, but regrettably predictable and a sorry microcosmic editorial of the degeneration our nation's political system. A democratic republic depends on compromise to succeed and evolve. Somehow we all have to relearn how to play well with others, respect the opinions of others, and agree to disagree when push comes to shove.

BTW, it is the correct thing to do and I'm totally behind the decision and enforcement...

It's obvious to me that I made a bad decision on the political board. Most fishing forums have them, but the users are respective to each other. Not here though. The divisive and personal attacks have spilled over into the rest of the site like a cancer and it's time to cut it out.

As of today NO MORE POLITICS ANYWHERE ON THE SITE.

It's time to turn this back into a fishing site, with friendly anglers that want to help each other out.
