I’m with you and I’m gonna be having beer with EVERYTHING??
Just drained my recent keg and headed to Long Ireland in riverhead tomorrow for a half keg of “this one goes to 11” IPA??

On the Horns of a Dilemma, boat all set and ready to go, nice afternoon tides and weather window Saturday, BUT...

[*]Favorite ramp doesn't have fingers installed
[*]Pothole Patrol hasn't hit the local, 2nd choice, fingerless ramp 1 mile down river, in a quick fast tide area, dictating a "Flying, Push-Off Launch"
[*]"Admiral" issues
[LIST]
[*]Not comfortable enough to take the helm for a FPOL
[*]Not comfortable enough to drive trailer back home with me at helm for a FPOL
[/LIST]
[*]3rd choice ramp has fingers so I could go solo if necessary, but a long boat ride home, so if it's cold Admiral not found of coming along and it's always nice to have a second set of hands around
[*]Weather for the coming week sucks so if I do launch, she'll be tied up until May
[/LIST]
So my considered plans:

[*]Go with a "Static" power off launch at favorite ramp with the Admiral, by me backing her down and then clambering along the trailer to hop on, power her off and tie her up the accessible dock, hop off, park the trailer and then the 2 of us can cruise home, tie her up and go back to pick up trailer.
[*]Go solo w/3rd choice ramp, Admiral can drive me back there to pick up trailer
[*]Delay launch: considering the weather forecast, I'd get as much use out of her on the trailer as in the water. Maybe I'll just get the kayaks on the dock Saturday and go for a nice paddle...

Saturday going to convert one section of fence into a gate, than more yard work.
