Hello Team,
I'd first like to thank each and every one of you for your support. Without getting into detail I've had to lay off 6-people from my other website business and my firefighters' foundation. It is what it is, and we will get through it, but I did want to explain my absence.
The good news is that this website doesn't make us any money yet so it's here to stay. In fact, we will be rolling out the new forecast, and tides as well as a new look - see attached screen capture. We will also be introducing exclusive fishing content for New York Anglers. And ours will be FREE.
Our year over year traffic is up over 100% right now and we've only just begun.
The important piece is that we support each other as moderators and if we disagree and we keep it on the mod board As I like to say "whats posted to the mod board stays on the mod board"
I'd like to welcome my Good Friend Moejoe to the team approving fishing reports - Although we haven't figured out the approval end of things yet :) We will. I still have to find a solution on how to migrate the old reports, or maybe archive them and make them available?
The key to our success is that we as mods are on the same page. I see this site as anglers helping anglers. If we can focus on that mission we will be a success.
I'll give everyone a heads-up before we launch, and I tried to give you folks access but it wasn't possible.
Again thanks for everything as we head into part 2 of the plan to take back New York Angling!
