I assume that few, if any of us, are about to readily go into the cylindrical 30,000 ft incubator in the near future, but if you were, would you be OK flying in the revamped 737-Max?
Now that it's been properly tested and independently validated, I'd be fine flying in one...

The plane is only as safe as the crew flying it. I think I've watched every episode of Air Disasters on the Smithsonian Channel, one crew even had a engine flame out and proceeded to turn off the remaining good engine because of cockpit confusion. All they needed to do was go back into the passenger cabin and look out the windows to confirm which one was on fire.
One crew flew into volcanic ash and scoured the windshield so bad they couldn't see out.
