Headed out with Frank Sr, picked up 6 spots and 4 eels. Started off playing catch and release on small fluke, as giving the outgoing tide some time. Called a buddy who was and asked if he had any bass he said a short and just dropped one. I said let’s go Frank it’s time, as we were approaching the area my buddy forgot to mention the parking lot of boats. We were met with a heavy presence of boat traffic. After sending down an eel on one rig and a spot on another, I said this isn’t gonna work who’s trolling who’s jigging boats just crisscrossing all over. I said Frank get your rod ready I repositioned the boat in line with the tide and started a power drift just enough to keep us going straight bumping in and out. Fish on the screen I said Frank get ready slam fish on. We continued doing this and boating fish. When the dust settled we ended with five slot fish keeping two, we had two under slot, dropped one and had a screamer that got off and came home with one eel. Gonna do an evening trip towards the end of the week. IMG_4488.webpIMG_4489.webpIMG_4490.webp
