Still getting new laptop fully loaded and realized this AM that I hadn't loaded Google Earth Pro yet. I accidently loaded the web based version and when I started using it I realized I could NOT get the IMAGE DATE, nor change the date to get a historical view. I did some further research and if you want to change the image date, or do a time lapse movie of a particular place, you have to load and use the computer version of Google Earth Pro.

@BoatGuy and I had an exchange a while ago regarding image dates and I couldn't figure out how to help him, as we were seeing different screens for the same image. Now I know he was using either the smartphone or web version of Google Earth Pro, while I was using, and will continue to use, the computer version.

Here's the difference in the screens, if you have that globe in the bottom, right corner, you're using the web/mobile version of Google Earth. No globe, and you're using the computer based version...

Hello again! So I went to Google and entered Google Earth. I went where it sent me. I think I was on Google Earth Pro.

I really did not pursue it further when I asked you the date of the image you mentioned 2019. Storms will push a lot of water and things most likely have changed since 2019
