Did the same thing at mom's house because I couldn't convince her that throwing bird food in the driveway was a vermin magnet. The poor birds gotta eat, you know.

Used a 5 gal, a beer can, a wood block, a metal rod and baited it with peanut butter. Big advantage is it keeps on working after it catches. Cheap, easy and minimal maintenance.

The guy who did the video [USER=79]@MOJOE[/USER] posted tests a lot of traps. A channel with a lot of good info.

Learned Colleagues: Intended to get gear out on the dock and the kayaks onto the float today, but when I opened the storage locker that I had to move onto the dock, I realized that Mickey and Minnie enjoyed it for their winter residence, ensconced in my 600 ft of offshore anchor rode. Fortunately they didn't gnaw on it, but it was their toilet, so the line spent the better part of the day soaking off the dock and then flaking it along the rails of the ramp so the sun could dry it off.

Up to now I've been having reasonably good luck with a combo of moth balls and Bounce dryer sheets. Well there was enough mothballs, 8, 8-oz bags, to kill Mothra and a few of her friends, and there were100 Bounce sheets strewn all over around the locker.

Anyone got ideas? All suggestions appreciated...

Yeah, i have a suggestion, Don't use Mothballs or Dryer sheets !!. :eek:

Besides the antifreeze, there isn't any room in the storage container for a 5 gallon bucket and all my boat gear...

Mojoe's going in the right direction - you just need to substitute bologna for the bucket.................
