Is it plugged in and fully charged?

All plugged in & ready. Couple weeks ago started getting slower & slower & the cursor became erratic & all over the screen, now all I get is a white screen.....John

Have you cleared your browsing history & done a file clean up?

How long have you had it?

About 4yrs

Cleared history, & cleared cookies, deleated all unnecessary files. Difficult to do anything else with it, as I can't get on line with it.

Run any Anti Virus / Malware programs that you have. Good luck.

Did you try a hard restart?

try taking the battery out of it - let it sit for about a 1/2 hour(make sure it's not plugged into the wall outlet - put battery back in & restart it - if it comes up minus the white screen - try a system restore to a date when it last operated properly

I had the same problem a couple of years ago - computer tech told me to do that & it worked - if it doesn't try taking it put back & shooting it :)

Hard restart would of been faster I have never taken the batt out of any of the laptops i HAVE ever owned

I plan on boat fishing the Plum Gut tomarrow, I can take it with me, & give it the swimming test.
