**The old picture thread of memorable moments
2 Wall Street Loves the NY Yankees. **
This was from October 29th, 1996. I was 24 years old, working in NYC down on the corner of Broadway and Wall Street. Ticker Tape Parade when the Yankees beet the Atlanta Braves in the World Series.
I was on the 9/10th floor (can't remember exactly) , windows didn't open, of- course, right near Trinity Church. Snapped this picture that morning. Old now.
Still love it and the memory 25 years later!
Please share some of your old pics as well!!

The Trolley terminal of the ‘59th Street’ Bridge on 2nd Ave. There was an Elevator, mid span, allowing access to Roosevelt Island, prior to the LIC bridge and the Tram.

Couple of slides I digitized when going thru the family slides.
Lighthouse Point Florida, I think 1964.
I guess those groupers weren't protected back then.
