That's a true gorilla blue!

Fished the race yesterday. Had a fair share of slot bass along with a few gorillas. Definitely my largest blue.

Those are the types that often save our trips when the Bass turn off. Fight like the devil and never quit.

I had a fellow on a charter with me several years ago from the Pacific Northwest. Told me he had caught tons of salmon in the 20# + class back home but never tangled with anything as mean as those gorilla Blues!

That is the most underrated fish in our waters and one we would all miss if it were to dissapear. Great fish!
