More research is needed to determine whether **Omicron**’s collection of mutations will enable the variant to evade immunity from vaccines or infections. It’s also not clear yet whether the disease it causes is more or less severe than other variants.

Since Roccus is clearly the only person who has any legitimate knowledge on the subject I'll pay attention to what he says and avoid the same nonsense that everyone else has spewed for a year and a half in the other thread.

The primary concerns which have yet to be determined are:

1) Does it cause severe illness? Thus far it seems like it does not but its yet to be determined.

2) Will it respond to current vaccines? Still no word on that.

Omicron has been in circulation for weeks so its probably here.

I think they should rename Covid, terminator. It just can't be eliminated........oh, wait.........it could if everyone was vaccinated!
