Best Grandchild Fishing Story - A few years ago I was out mackerel fishing with my two granddaughters and their "caretaker", my son. We had a good bite going and when a boat passed and asked how the fishing was, one of the girls proudly said "We're catching 'mack-er-al'!!!"

My son, beaten into submission of "Omerta" while striper fishing was horrified and quietly said to me, "That OK?" "Oh yeah with macks it's fine, but when she starts bass fishing with us she'll get the 'Cone of Silence' Lecture. If she yaps after that talk, then overboard she goes if she blabs!!"
