I am headed into phase two of the site and I wanted to get some input. I am going to go back to a more traditional-looking homepage with current articles and news. With recent posts added. I also feel strongly that we have too many boards. I could easily make sub-boards or combine boards. Any advice would be appreciated.
The BIG question is whether should we consider changing our domain name to noreaster.com which I happen to own. I realize it's similar to the old site but it is different and it s an actual word.
I'm a NY angler so I'm fine with what we have but I was wondering what you guys thought about that?

The name change is totally up to you. My 2¢ is that the current name may turn off people who are not fishing in NY, so you may want to go "Noreaster" to increase your range. Then you could have regional sub boards for "localization", kind of like how Stripers On Line is Organized.
Yes, way too many boards. Some have only 5 threads in them and could easily be combined into sub-boards. For example, all the specific Fresh Water stuff like Flies, Rivers, etc. could be sub boards under a main freshwater fishing board.
