Been there, seen it, heard it, and WOW!!! That pipe organ in Passau is amazing!! Nothing like hearing, and feeling, the Toccata and Fugue in D Minor played on a proper cathedral pipe organ.

Cellie, did you know that one of the best pipe organs in the world is up at the Riverside Church? Go uptown for a concert!!

No I didn’t, but it would be interesting to know how far back the Organ was designed… I gotta take a bike ride there sometime…

Brooklyn Technical High School had an IV/85 Aeolian Company, Op. 1212 pipe organ in the auditorium until the early 1970's. The auditorium is the 2nd largest in the city with over 3000 seats.

When I was a kid, I played piano. Even did a recital in Carnegie Hall when I was 14. The fingers no longer work well enough for that stuff. But if they did, what I wouldn't give for a crack at one of those church organs.

Let's hope it doesn't get caught in the cross border tariff war like Maine lobsters going to Canada to get processed and sent back to Maine for distribution...
