Anyone have Optimum Mobile?? Since 3Pm the service has been down. Phone has no signal and says SoS. I called my number from the house phone and says my mobile # is not in service. Texted through Wifi with custumer service they have no clue about any outages and said we will get back to you by Tuesday 3/21. WTF....

Damn that sux
Crazy how dependent we all are on this technology we didnt have growing up and got by and survived just fine???
How much are you saving over verizon or AT&T and is it enough to offset that kind of service??
Yeah I hear you on that how reliant we are on tech.
This was the first time we had a big outage like that. I signed up with them 4 years ago I think when they first came out. $32/mo unlimited everything. They use the T-Mobile/Sprint network if I remember correctly. Pretty steady mobile service, some low laying areas on the north shore get spotty reception (25a in Centerport). Other than last night's outage no real complaints.

This is a key "issue" with the lower cost cell services like Optimum, Consumer Cellar, *etc.* in rural areas. Since they don't have their own network, their coverage can be very spotty once you get away from "civilization". Folks using them should be cognizant of these limitations when traveling.
For shits & giggles I check with them every once in while, and my latest check with Consumer Cellar was responded to with, "Sorry, we don't serve your area". At least they were honest...

how do i know they are border crossers, BC they were afraid to use the escalators…
Not necessarily "Border Crossers". Dad used to make sure he shut off the escalators at EWR every night for the 11:00 PM flight in from San Juan. They're US Citizens, who aren't used to escalators...
