Watched some 9/11 documentaries on Nat Geo over the weekend, 1st WTC bombing was 1993 - 30 years ago.
My B-I-L worked in the building for Marsh & McLennan, he's had A-Fib since that day.

have you been to the memorial? Went a few years ago with my daughter. To say it was sobering is an understatement.

observation deck is breathtaking on a clear day, $50 interesting ride to the top… limited menu @ $30 hamburger for a +1.5 hour look around, reservation suggested…

my brother worked about 2 blocks from the towers - I was on the phone with him when the second tower was struck - when they finally told them to evacuate the building he got caught in the debris cloud when the second tower came down - made it across the Brooklyn Bridge on foot with his shirt wrapped around his head so he could breathe - police officer on the other side gave him a ride to Kew Gardens so he could catch a train home - lost track of him for 6 hours due to cell service being down - didn't know if he was alive or dead - meanwhile I had my mother calling me every 15 minutes asking if I had heard from him - of course I lied & said I had
